EUMeTrain is going to hold a repetition of the Synoptic and Mesoscale Analysis of Satellite Images Course. The whole course duration will be from 1 October to 23 November 2018 subdivided into 2 phases: an online phase (1 October to 11 November) and a classroom phase (19 November to 23 November). Prerequisite to join the classroom phase is a successful participation at the online phase. That means that an earlier invitation to the classroom phase could become invalid. Nevertheless, the number of participants to the classroom phase will be limited to 20.
The course will focus on the interpretation of cloud pattern in satellite imagery using the conceptual model method. The course program will be similar to the last course held in 2016 with minor modifications concerning the selected conceptual models.
