This popular school on nowcasting techniques and satellite products celebrates seven years in 2019. Presenters from Greece, Austria, the Czech Republic, Spain, USA, Bulgaria, France, Germany, and Italy will merge in a Mediterranean atmosphere to discuss whether using observations from space and conceptual models (which offer an intuition on the expected evolution of convective systems in the next hours) is better than numerical modelling.
